Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence (2011) - Maybe don't watch it?

So I obviously enjoy this movie. Why? I can't really tell you. It's some piece of my brain that is just a little off and allows this to be tolerable viewing material for me. As much as I personally recommend it, I really don't. Don't watch this unless you're as sick as me. I enjoyed the first Human Centipede just fine. I mean the way that the actors/characters ended up in the situation they were for this whole procedure to have happened or existed is very stupid and they almost deserve it. I'm just kidding no one deserves it but it's wonderful for our viewing pleasure. So why not review the original Human Centipede first? No reason. I was just going straight for the true gruesome, snuff-esque, insane material right away. This movie is nearly unwatchable. Even if you can handle gore or torture this movie is just absolutely overboard. And I love that they did that. It's absolutely insane.

They main character we have is addicted to the first movie. He fantasizes about it constantly, It turns him on. He plans an entire instruction booklet on how to perform this and take it to the next level. He is mentally handicapped (is that an okay description? maybe not) and he also has suffered extreme sexual and psychological abuse from both of his terrible parents. He works over night security for some random parking lot, which makes him perfectly set up to carry out multiple kidnappings. No one suspects him either because they think he's an idiot and he has no relationships with anyone. He rents a sketchy ass storage space/warehouse to store all the bodies he has kidnapped from some dude who could really not give a shit about anything. It isn't close to anything, and it's basically soundproof. What is interesting about this character is that no one could assume that he could physically or mentally capable to pull off these actions. But he finds people alone, locked out of their cars, and underground. One whack on the head with a crowbar and they're down and done.

So the first Human Centipede was obviously an experiment to see if this doctor could really pull off sewing multiple people together and having the "creation" survive. The "criminal" in the first one is a professional surgeon so he has done extensive research and has the tools and resources to perform this better than anyone. Technically. I mean obvious spoilers here, but the experiment goes wrong. The mouth wounds get extremely infected, the people end up with malnutrition cause even human shit isn't enough to sustain existence. It ends up dying. Even with the most professional procedure. I mean, most professional attempt because not every doctor is as deranged as that dude obviously.

What makes this sequel exponentially more terrifying is that this person has absolutely nothing to pull this off correctly. He is just completely fucked in the head (not cause of the mental illness and trauma, it's obviously deeper than that), and he is going to try to put 12 people together is the most sloppy, filthy and dangerous way. He uses hammers, and scissors and a staple gun to try to perform this. WITH TWELVE PEOPLE. I mean, how they're not dead in the first place from head trauma is one thing, but the other thing is that he is just smashing out teeth, cutting open anuses, and removing knee muscles with his bare ass hands and common house hold tools. Obviously it's unsuccessful because people can't live through that. And honestly, after all that torture, why would you even want to live?

This movie is terrifying because you know immediately from the beginning that this is only going to be a fucking disaster. It's disgusting, it's gory, and it absolutely can fuck your mind up if you are not able to prepare for this. The fact that it's filmed in black and white and has no musical score at all also make the movie just that much scarier. It's absolutely disgusting. If you're looking for something to absolutely make you throw up or lose all faith in humanity completely, this is the one. There are few movies grosser and sloppier than this. And that's what's terrifying. That being said, I still think it's extremely well done and I have watched it multiple times cause... Well I don't know.
