The most props I can give to this movie is how accurately it's titled. I don't know what else to say. I am at a loss for words. This movie and its sequel are so highly rated online, but I'm pretty sure I watched it with my own eyes. Wanna skip the wordy review I'll probably push out here? Skip this movie too. It's a weird take on a sort of serial killer movie, but I felt so lost the whole time I was watching it. There is a man who is hired by another man to film sort of a video diary for the one guys' future son. The dude is an absolute CREEP right from the start. Like, how many signs do you need in order to escape from a bad situation? Also, if anything, it shows you how careful you should be when taking random Craigslist jobs from strangers. Sure go out to some random house alone with some dude and go for hikes with him. He'll steal your keys, he'll get you drunk so you can't drive. And he'll find your address and send you weird mail. Then he'll kill you because you're a stupid idiot who is completely unaware of your surroundings. This movie is SO BORING. There is way too much dead time just still scenes building up to absolutely nothing. I get it, the guy is a creepy serial killer. What else? If I'm missing something here, I'd love to know what it is. Seriously, send me a comment and explain this to me. I will visit the sequel for the sake of the people, but save yourself an hour and a half.
